A long time ago a magical doll was delivered to my desk. I wanted to take her all around San Francisco but the weather, in typical San Francisco fashion, didn't cooperate. Most of her time in city was spent indoors and eating a various local restaurants. We did manage to escape the house for a bit to see the murals in the Mission and hike up Bernal Hill.
As a special treat we drove down to Palo Alto and spent time in one of
the many science labs at Stanford University. Ada got to play around
with a bunch of chemicals and the bacterias, and I'm pretty sure she is
responsible for some huge scientific discovery :) She even made friends
with other dolls in between experiments!
I never knew that you could have so much fun with a traveling doll
and I am extremely grateful for the experience.
